I was there too, with my 7 year old child. We, with help from security, got out just as the first barrier fell. It was incredibly frightening. There were no police, just thousands of protesters whipping themselves up into a violent frenzy.

A sunny Saturday morning in a beautiful park, the events that unfolded have changed me and I have to accept that I'll never come to terms with the utter hatred from that mob of protesters.

Thankyou Thankyou

Trans activism is a strangely powerful, ill-formed and increasingly dangerous phenomena on its own. As it is being used and manipulated by others who couldn’t care less about trans people we should be very afraid.

All the power brokers are complicit in the harms to women on this day. The media coverage prior to KJK's arrival was "on a spectrum" (rainbow folx love this word) that hovered between shameful and disgraceful. Your average Kiwi (who according to the Denton's playbook) has been deliberately kept in the dark about recent legislative changes is going to be in for a shock when they see men in places they haven't entered before (like pool changing rooms where they can sit and watch young girls getting undressed). All the politicians who lied about the "anti-trans activist" who was coming, were complicit in the chaos that ensued in Auckland. They encouraged the bad behaviour that the world saw. The police were AWOL and no one was safe. It's a miracle that no one was killed.
